Julie: Pics from Spring Break

I hope you had a wonderful Easter holiday. I promised I would share some pics from my Spring Break with two of my satellite sisters. Sarah in the center and Linda were my roommates in college. They are the kind of friends that no matter how long it has been since we've seen each other, we can pick right up where we left off. It was a rare treat to spend time with them. Here we are hiking around Mt Kuchamaa outside of Tecate, Mexico.
Here's wishing that you will get to spend time with your satellite sisters. It is worth the effort.

  • Great photo, Julie! I have a similar photo, taken last month on a girls' getaway with my college roomies on a hiking trail near Phoenix. I agree that it is worth the time and effort to organize this time with our satellite sisters. Glad you had fun!

  • Great photo Julie. Thanks for posting it. The best kind of friends are those that you can pick up anytime, anywhere and its like no time or distance has come between you. Glad you enjoyed yourself.

  • That's the best thing about satellite sisters--the ability to pick up where you left off the last time you were together.

  • It's so cool that you're still close to your college friends. I have a couple great ones that I've kept so far and hope to keep for many years to come.
As a matter of fact, I think I should make plans to see one in DC soon. Keeping in touch over the years and miles takes more effort but it's certainly worth it!

  • Sounds like you had a great time. Traveling is always great, especially with some gal pals!
